Bodhicitta (awakening consciousness) is that deep feeling that there must be "something more". It is the yearning for understanding, meaning and belonging. Bodhicitta is the motivating force for seekers. The "something more" for which we yearn has been generically expressed, in Sanskrit and in English, as:
Satyam - Shivam - Sundara
Truth - Love - Beauty
